The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run courses wind through the streets of DC Ranch. Age Groups5K and Half Marathon Runs: 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over. Masters Men & Masters Women. 5K Walk and 1 Mile are non-competitive. AwardsThe top three Half Marathon and 5K Run finishers in each of the age group categories will receive awards. Age group awards will be awarded based on Chip Time. HighlightsWith staging at Market Street @ DC Ranch, this event features something for every member of the family. MORE EVENT HIGHLIGHTSThe first 100 registered youths who complete the Family Fun Run will receive a t-shirt and all completed will receive a medal.
The first 600 completers in the Half Marathon event will receive a Finisher’s Medal.

About Ryan HouseThe mission of Ryan House is to provide essential care in a home-like setting where children with life-threatening conditions and their families will come for respite and, as needed, end-of-life care. All services at Ryan House will be guided by the principles of palliative care. This philosophy of comfort care addrresses not only physical pain but also the emotional, spiritual and social needs of the child and family. Ryan House is an Arizona 501(c)(3) non-profit that was established in 2004. The Ryan House facility is set to open in spring 2010.
